CNC Machinist - Glenrothes

My client have grown to become one of the country's foremost centers of excellence in heavy precision engineering.

Their in-depth knowledge base and experience, puts them at the cutting edge. A computer aided manufacturing system and computerised production control facility is used to maximize the capability and productivity of their machines. Specialist software packages are used to provide full support for the machining process.
State of the art equipment which can handle components up to 3.5m in diameter and up to 16 tonne in weight.
Flexible and powerful machines are capable of handling the most complex tasks to satisfy clients specialist requirements.
Many of the machines are equipped with accessories giving 5-axis machining capability

For their Modern Glenrothes facility they require Time-Served Machinists.

Time served Machinists: - with experience of using CNC horizontal boring machine or vertical turning machine. Giddings & Lewis machinery with 800 or 8000 controls would be advantageous.
You will have been involved in medium to heavy precision sub contract machining preferably within the Oil and Gas and Aerospace industries.
