Our client is searching for an enthusiastic, and technically excellent, Senior Java Developer to join their growing team of software development experts. You will be required to deliver software related projects on time and on budget and work collaboratively using Agile methodologies.
The role:
- Provide analysis, design, code and documentation for solutions based on business problems
- Work collaboratively with key business stakeholders to help them shape their requirements in to potential solutions
- Support the transition from implementation of solutions and projects to operational support
- Collaborate with internal departments, and other team members, throughout the full development life-cycle and assume responsibility and ownership of the delivered solution
Skills required:
- Strong programming skills in Java / J2EE Enterprise level solutions
- Experience developing OO applications (specifications, design, programming, testing)
- Ability to query large Oracle databases for problem investigation, data mining and coding solutions
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills coupled with the ability to develop and maintain strong business relationships
- Experience working with a variety of development methodologies (Agile, Iterative etc)
- Solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle
